Members of our chapter have a wide variety of hobbies and interests, while star trek is our common thread, there are games who belong to C.O.G.A. some of our members are also with marcon. some are modle builders, others are computer gifted. Creative endeavors are always encouraged on board our ship. One of these is "THE KITTYHAWK KRONICLES" . Our offical newsletter keeps crewmembers informed of upcoming events in addition to science facts and star trek news up dates.
ABOUT OUR SHIP
The U.S.S.KITTYHAWK is an independant star trek fan club and is a non-profit organization. Our group is dedicated to bringing star trek fans togetherand providing a medium in which they can acquire and follow the ideals as seen in the star trek univers. Theu.s.s. kittyhawk encourages it's members to sign aboard our "ship" chapter with a fictional rank and duty department. These ships are actually club chapters that are based in towns and cities not only in the united states, but in countries all over the world. Our local chapter gives you a chance to really get in touch with other star trek fans in your area.
CHARITIES & EVENTS
We are involved in our communities each year. We volunteer our time and energies to charities like the march of dimes, the columbus food pantry, and kids n kamp to aid in the ongoing battle against homelessness, disease, and hunger. We participate in such local events as the fourth of july parades .
